Privacy Policy

    Last updated: August 2026

At Prolytics, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our League of Legends analytics platform.

We do not treat your use of the platform as blanket agreement to everything below. Different activities rest on different legal grounds:

    • Running the platform for you — your account, your team's game data, and the analytics we produce from it: performance of our agreement with your organization.
    • Keeping it secure and working — authentication, audit logs, abuse prevention, and diagnosing faults: our legitimate interest in operating a secure service.
    • Analytics cookies — your consent, asked for separately and freely refusable. See section 6.
    • Records we must keep — where retention is required of us: compliance with a legal obligation.

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, and doing so does not affect your access to the platform or any processing that happened before you withdrew.

To provide analytics services, we collect and process:

    • Scrim match data and statistics
    • Player performance metrics (KDA, CS, damage, etc.)
    • Champion picks, bans, and draft information
    • Match outcomes and game results
    • Public Leaguepedia data for professional match analysis

    1.3 Automatically Collected Information

When you use our service, we automatically collect:

    • Device information and browser type
    • IP address and location data (general geographic area)
    • Pages visited within the platform and which features are used
    • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see section 6)

    2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

    • Provide, maintain, and improve our analytics platform
    • Process and analyze game data to generate insights and reports
    • Authenticate users and manage accounts
    • Send administrative information and respond to inquiries
    • Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve user experience
    • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats
    • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service

    3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

    3.1 Service Providers

We use third-party services to operate our platform:

    • Supabase: Database and authentication services
    • Riot Games API: Official game data and player information
    • GRID: Scrim match data and statistics
    • Leaguepedia: Public professional match data
    • PostHog: Product analytics, hosted in the European Union
    • Vercel: Application hosting and aggregate traffic analytics

Your scrim, draft, and player performance data is never sent to our analytics providers. See section 6 for exactly what analytics data leaves the platform.

    3.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government regulation, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Prolytics, our users, or others.

    3.3 Team Data

Game data and analytics may be shared with other members of your team or organization as part of the platform's collaborative features.

    4. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information, including:

    • Encryption of data in transit and at rest
    • Secure authentication and access controls
    • Regular security assessments and updates
    • Role-based access controls for team data

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

    5. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

    • Access: Request access to your personal data
    • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
    • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data
    • Portability: Request transfer of your data
    • Objection: Object to processing of your data
    • Withdrawal: Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

To exercise these rights, please contact us at prolyticslol@gmail.com.

    6. Cookies and Analytics

    6.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

We use cookies and browser storage that are required for the platform to work, principally to keep you signed in between visits. These cannot be disabled without breaking access to your account.

    6.2 Product Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how the platform is used so we can improve it. PostHog is hosted in the European Union and stores its data there. It sets first-party cookies and browser storage so that repeat visits from the same browser can be recognised.

Analytics only runs if you accept it. Until you choose "Accept" on our cookie banner, PostHog is not loaded, no analytics cookies are set, and no data — including your IP address — is sent to it. If you accept, we collect:

    • Pages visited and the order they were visited in
    • Clicks and other interactions with the interface
    • Named events for significant actions, such as creating a match prep report
    • Browser, device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address
    • For signed-in users: your user ID, email address, name, role, and the team your account belongs to

6.3 What We Do Not Send to Analytics

We deliberately limit what leaves the platform. We do not send our analytics providers:

    • Any scrim, draft, opponent scouting, or player performance data. Analytics records that a report was created, never which opponent it concerned.
    • Session or screen recordings. Session replay is disabled, so no recording of your screen is ever captured.
    • The contents of your team's activity log, which stays in our own database under team-level access controls.

    6.4 Your Choices

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Rejecting is a single click and carries no penalty — the platform works identically either way.

You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer of any page, which clears your stored choice and asks again. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though strictly necessary cookies are required to stay signed in. For anything else, contact us at prolyticslol@gmail.com.

    7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.

    8. Third-Party Links and Services

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services (such as Riot Games, GRID, and Leaguepedia). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information to them.

    9. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

    10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

    11. Contact Us
